Thinking of filing for Chapter 7?

I have two repos under 12000 each, and a few odd and ends thing no
more than $2000. But I do have tons of medical claims on my credit. As
of today I have about 3 bills in my name past due but no credit card
bills. I am slow on pay due to child support and of course rent. I
don't own a vehicle at this time. So is it worth Chapter 7 and is it
hard to file?
