Ex-managing director Andrew Lindberg was a National Party campaign worker who was appointed by a National Party leader to head the now disgraced organisation. Given the incestuous relationship between the Howard government and the AWB, and the multiple bribery warnings that were all delivered and studiously ignored, how likely is it that the bribing of a terrorist dictator was carried out with the full knowledge and support of the Howard government?
