Sun America & Pershing Investment Manager Services - Are They Reliable?

My finacial consultant is using SunAmerica an Pershing to handle
monthly distributions from my IRA account whch has mutual funds and
stocks in it. Everything goes smooth unless I request a change in the
distribution amount. Changes can take a couple of months to get
implemented and often there are problems with the changes like
incorrect amounts or shortages. I do not request changes very often.

Right now there is a lost wire transfer. I requested a wire transfer
number eight days ago from my financial consultant and I am still
waiting for it. The consultant says the problem is with Pershing.

Are these kind of problems typical?
